Simultaneously enhanced strength-plasticity of graphene/metal nanocomposites via interfacial microstructure regulation

摘要
•Graphene nanoplatelet reinforced Ti6Al4V composites with appropriate interfacial microstructure for simultaneously enhance strength and plasticity are facilely prepared.•A multiscale theoretical framework for predicted the entire stress-strain relations of graphene/metal nanocomposites with hard/soft interfacial effects is developed.•The overall mechanical properties considering interface effects and progressive damage have a good accuracy against experimental results.•Both geometrical size and aspect ratio of graphene nanoplatelet contribute to interfacial effects.
