摘要
Single-pot hydrothermal synthesis route was employed to produce TiO 2 /SBA-16 cubic mesoporous nanocomposite. The relative humidity response of the nanocomposite has been investigated. XRD, FTIR, N 2 adsorption–desorption, SEM, HRTEM, and EDX spectroscopy techniques have been used to analyze the nanocomposite. The XRD, SEM, and TEM analyzed the structural and morphological property, which confirms the 3D cubic symmetry of SBA-16 and confirms the presence of TiO 2 . EDX validates the material's elemental composition and illustrates that as the loading amount of TiO 2 increases, surface area decreases, which is supported by the N 2 adsorption–desorption isotherms. A silver-coated digital electrode was used to measure humidity sensing properties at room temperature via a source-measure Keithley Unit. A unique humidity atmosphere was created in shut instrumentation using saturated binary compound salt solutions of K 2 SO 4 , KCl, NaCl, Mg(NO 3 ) 2 •4H 2 O, MgCl 2 •6H 2 O, and LiCl. The results indicate that TiO 2 -doped SBA-16 nanocomposite has an inordinate potential as an advanced humidity sensor.
