摘要

•Novel Z-scheme Bi2WO6/Ni-MOF heterojunction was prepared.•Bi2WO6 were evenly covered on the outside of 2D Ni-MOF with intimate interface.•Formed Z-scheme structure facilitated the separation of photoexcited charges.•The heterojunction exhibited enhanced photocatalytic activity for MB degradation.•The mechanism for photocatalytic degradation of MB was proposed.
