Effect of Plasma and Electrostatic Field on the Growth and Nutrients of Chinese Cabbage

The effects of plasma and electrostatic field on the growth and nutrient content of Chinese cabbage have been investigated. The parameters of height, dry weight, content of vitamin C (VC), soluble sugar (SS), and total amino acids (TAAs) are used to characterize the growth speed and quality of Chinese cabbage. The results show that both plasma and electrostatic field can promote the growth, increase the dry weight, and improve the quality of Chinese cabbage. In addition, the appropriate combination of plasma and electrostatic field can produce better effects than using one of them alone.
