摘要
•The association of sorbitol 2.5 % with CA storage controls chilling injury.•CI symptom was associated with electrolyte leakage, lipid peroxidation, and PPO.•CI inhibition was related to vitamin C and total polyphenols (non-enzymatic defence).•CI inhibition was related to SOD, CAT, and APX activities (enzymatic defence system).•The quality of mangoes was maintained for up to 30 d at 8 °C.
