摘要

•One new complex with flexible tricarboxylate and N-donor ligands was synthesized.•Complex 1 has different degradation efficiency for three dyes.•The degradation behavior follows the pseudo-first-order rate constant.•The plausible mechanism displayed by 1 toward MB was proposed.
