Study of B-S(0) Meson Decays to J/psi Kappa(+)Kappa(-)pi(+)pi(-) Final State

The decays of B-s(0) -> J/psi K+K-pi(+)pi(-) are studied using a data set corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb(-1) collected by the LHCb experiment in proton-proton collisions between 2011 and 2018. The decays B-s(0) -> J/psi K*(0)(K*0) over bar B-s(0) -> chi(cl) (3872)K+K- where the K+K- pair does not originate from the phi meson are observed for the first time. Precise measurements of the branching fraction ratios between B-s(0) -> J/psi K*(0)(K*0) over bar B-s(0) -> chi(cl) (3872)phi B-s(0) -> psi(2S)phi and B-s(0) -> chi(cl) (3872) K+K- channels are reported. A structure denoted X(4740) is observed in the J/psi phi mass spectrum with a significance in excess of 5.3 standard deviations. In addition, the most precise measurement of the B-s(0) meson mass is made.
