Analysis of the Results of Muon Radiography Experiments in the Search for Structures in the Ground

In order to develop the muon radiography method, model calculations of test experiments on muon radiography for several configurations of dense structures in a homogeneous ground were carried out. The sensitivity of the method and the possible role of statistical fluctuations for the considered cases have been estimated. A quantitative approach to the analysis of muon radiograms is considered, which can be used when planning future experiments.
