摘要
Bicycles are an important part in non-motorized traffic and play a key role in green transportation and sustainable development. We proposed a model for an urban street bikeability evaluation system based on relevant planning and research. First, we constructed an evaluation of bikeability from three levels of safety, comfort and convenience. The specific meaning and calculation method of each index in the evaluation system are given: AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) and EWM (Entropy Weight Method) is used to solve the weight of each index. Then we proposed standards for classification of urban street bikeability. Lastly, we used Beijing as the target area. The urban street bikeability was evaluated, analyzed and visualized by applying ArcGIS. This research offers a direction to optimize street bikeability, and the results can also be applied in route planning to improve non-motorized traffic experiences.
