摘要
A broadband magnetoelectric (ME) dipole filtering antenna with high selectivity is proposed. The antenna consists of four pieces of metal, and the asymmetric fork microstrip power divider feeds the antenna through the slot in the center of the ground plane. Due to the phase difference between the two stubs of power divider, two radiation nulls are generated, together with the intrinsic null of ME dipole to achieve filtering response. The simulation results show that the impedance bandwidth (vertical bar S-11 vertical bar < -10 dB) of the proposed antenna is 40.8% (2.52-3.81 GHz), and the average gain in the passband is 8dBi. The stopband suppression level is better than 19.7 dB. The antenna is easy to fabricate, with flat gain in passband, high selectivity of passband edge, and good stopband rejection ability, which can be used in various wireless communication applications.
