摘要
•Size dependence of BaNbO2N particles on the PEC water splitting was demonstrated.•Ba5Nb4O15 particles in different sizes were synthesized by polymerized complex method.•The size of BaNbO2N particles was dependent on the calcination temperature of oxides.•The size (or BET surface area) of BaNbO2N particles largely influenced the PEC activity.
