摘要

•Zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZNPs) were prepared using the aqueous extract of Bergenia ciliata.•Biogenic ZNPs were formed with spherical and flower morphologies.•Biogenic ZNPs showed a particle size distribution of 23–59 nm.•Biogenic ZNPs exhibited significant photocatalytic activity.•Biogenic ZNPs exhibited great antioxidant activity.
