摘要

•Various wt.% of Cu2+ doped ZnO were synthesized by the thermal spreading technique.•The in-depth structural details have been studied through the Rietveld refinement method.•Blue-Green Emission of synthesized materials was obtained using PL analysis.•Chromaticity diagram clearly confirmed the color purity of Blue-Green phosphor.•The organic dye Amaranth has been completely degraded by the prepared materials.
