•We predict climate change-related genetic offset for Araucaria araucana.•According genomic-environmental association of 18,988 unlinked SNPs, 896 were detected as putatively adaptive.•Temperature annual range as most important selective force driving adaptive divergence.•Piedmonts in Southern Andes Mountain range were identified as areas of higher genetic offset.
