摘要
The vegetation mosaic in Sphagnum-dominated mires in Vitosha mountain in Bulgaria was studied using satellite images and aero photography. An algorithm was developed in GIS environment to delineate the areas of different humidity and vegetation using remote sensing methods that will help to monitor changes in the habitat characteristics. Five expert-defined landcover classes were used for computer recognition with predominance of hydrophilous and mesophilous vegetation.
