Influence of the concentration of chenodeoxycholic acid on the performance of the N719 dye

•N719 dye as an inorganic metal complex, was used as light harvesting dyes for Dye-sensitized solar cell.•The effect of co-adsorbents of enhance photovoltaic characteristics of fabricated solar cells was investigated.•Results indicate that increasing sensitization time after adding 1.5 mM CDCA improve the efficiency of the fabricated solar cells.
