摘要

•ELISA assay based on Zika NS1 antigens has a high sensitivity comparable to a commercial kit.•NS1 based ELISA in this study is rapid and easy to use for the diagnosis of Zika infection.•NS1 β-ladder based ELISA may increase the sensitivity and reduce the production cost making it suitable for use in arboviral endemic regions in resource-limited settings.
