Effect of the radiative losses during selective laser melting process

In this paper, we study the effect of the radiative losses during selective laser melting process of stainless steel. We have used two softwares, one to obtain the initial powder bed distribution with a discrete element method (DEM) calculation, the other, to analyze the temperature-velocity profiles with the Ansys-Fluent software.
