摘要
•5-Hydroxymethylfural derived bisindolylmethanes are synthesized by green ball milling method.•All the synthesized BIMs show good antioxidant activity.•The synthesized BIMs 5c and 5f showed good inhibitory action against α-amylase and α-glucosidase.•Docking displays 5c and 5f with good minimum binding energy score.
