摘要

•A set of SHPB system for dynamic tests of ultra-soft materials in solution environment was established.•The high-speed images derived that the water may be regarded as a steady flow until the constant strain rate loading ended.•The effect of solution on the specimen in SHPB tests is explored and a data correcting method was set up to modify the experimental result tested in water.
