摘要
A general wave matrix approach to efficiently analyzing and designing cylindrical metasurfaces is proposed. The targeted structure is formed by cascading several concentric, azimuthally-varying metasurfaces (sheets of patterned metallic claddings supported by dielectric substrates). Given a specified cylindrical field transformation, the required inhomogeneous sheet admittances are determined through optimization. The proposed framework accounts for higher-order coupling, which circumvents the fabrication difficulties of previous works.
