摘要
Diabetic kidney disease (DKD) is the main reason of end-stage renal disease (ESRD), while the underlying etiopathogenesis of DKD is unclear. Recent studies showed Mitochondria-associated endoplasmic reticulum membranes (MAM) might serve as a key regulator in the control of glucose homeostasis. Kidney is an important target of hyperglycemic damage, but few studies have been done on the role of MAM in DKD.
