摘要
Membraneless organelles (MLOs) are an elusive class of cellular structures that intersect diverse cellular pathways and have been implicated in multiple pathologies, including neurodegeneration and cancer. A defining feature of MLOs is their assembly through molecular condensation, which creates a dynamic range of material properties. Understanding how molecular condensation is regulated within a living system is essential for defining how these unique cellular structures function in homeostasis and how their dysregulation is linked to disease.
