Flexible Frequency Selective Surfaces With Ultra-Large Incidence Angle

摘要
In this work, we propose a flexible stopband Frequency Selective Surface (FSS) based on a novel self-similar structure designation with ultra-large incidence angle ranging from 0° to 88° for TE and TM polarization on flexible polyimide substrate. The structure has four semicircle arcs with C4 rotation symmetry and is optimized using second order self-similar architecture. Ultimately, the two-order fractal designation exhibits great performance and simulation results indicate that the structure has great polarization and angular stability under different incident angles and polarizations.
