Typical Load Analysis and Forecast of a Provincial Power Grid in Mid-Southern China

In this paper, the situation of electricity consumption of typical user groups is analyzed and predicted, and its correlation with the economic situation is explored. Based on the prophet time series algorithm, this paper analyzes and forecasts the electricity consumption trend of typical customer groups in Southern provincial capital based on time series decomposition and combined with machine learning fitting method. It also explores the impact of the 2020 epidemic on different user groups, which can provide solutions to the future economic situation on electricity consumption and to reduce the situation of oversupply or undersupply of power resources.
