摘要

•A uniform protective layer composed of LixAlySiOz/Li2O is formed by the chemical reaction of aluminum isopropoxide with LixSi.•The modified LixSi has high lithium reserves and great environmental adaptability.•The storage time under the condition of certain oxygen and water content can be prolonged.
