The authors used chloroplast SSRs and RADseq loci from the chloroplast, mitochondrial and nuclear genomes to study the genetic diversity and genetic structure of a narrow endemic tree species, Noronhia spinifolia in Madagascar. The study presents interesting data and results and is well written, nevertheless I have some concerns that I will lay out in detail below and that I hope will be helpful for the authors to improve the manuscript. and
