摘要

•N-CNTs /PSSF were synthesized by chemical vapor deposition using dual precursors.•More active sites and better contact efficiency resulting from acid treatment promoted the degradation of phenol.•The increased ratio of active nitrogen promoted the improvement of the catalytic efficiency of N-CNTs/PSSF for phenol after acid treatment.•Hydroxyl radicals and sulfate radicals were reactive oxygen species in the reaction system.
