OP060: Rare diseases, common barriers: Disparities in clinical genetics outcomes

Identifying a precise molecular genetic diagnosis can be life-changing for individuals with rare disease. However, the resources required to do so may impede access and exacerbate healthcare disparities leading to inequitable care. We therefore sought to determine the effect of multiple sociodemographic factors on diagnostic outcomes for genetics outpatients.
