Extracting maximum power from a photovoltaic generator, regardless of meteorological conditions, remains a challenge in the field of solar photovoltaics. Therefore, techniques have been developed to find the best operating point of a photovoltaic module. These include the conventional perturbation and observation method and the fuzzy logic technique. In this paper, we present the combination of two MPPT methods, namely the perturbation and observation method and the fuzzy logic method. We aim to show whether the combination of two different MPPT techniques for a solar system is more accurate and efficient in determining the peak power point than the conventional perturbation and observation method alone.
