摘要

•A luminescent copper thiolate coordination polymer formulated as [Cu(pot)]n was synthesized.•The compound features with a 3D structure constructed by zigzag inorganic Cu-S chains.•It displays orange emission peaked at 609 nm with supremely high photostability.•[Cu(pot)]n possesses thermochromic and mechanochromic luminescence simultaneously.
