P554. Source Generators of EEG Microstates in Patients With Schizophrenia

Lehmann et al. proposed that EEG comprises periods of quasi-stable spatial configurations that remain stable for 80–120ms before rapidly transitioning to different microstate. Alterations of EEG microstate characteristics were reported in patients with schizophrenia. Source localization of these potential maps suggest that microstates represent the time varying changes of the Default Mode Network (DMN). Our aim is to investigate EEG microstate source differences between patients with schizophrenia and healthy controls (HCs).
