Protective effects of Gintonin-enriched fraction (GEF) on sarcopenic obesity in high-fat diet (HFD)-fed obese mice. The treatment of GEF reduced lipid accumulation and increased energy expenditure as heat in white adipose tissue (WAT). It also stimulated mitochondrial biogenesis and inhibited obesity-induced skeletal muscle atrophy in HFD-fed mice.Image 1
