Low-Complexity Quantum Channel Phase Estimation

Quantum communication suggests the supremacy of secure communications over classic counterparts. However, engineering quantum communication systems in practice is still in the early stage, particularly dealing with the unique features of quantum mechanical systems and challenging implementation of quantum circuitry. In this paper, we uniquely explore the quantum phase estimation of the quantum communication channel under the constraint of low-complexity quantum circuitry. Taking advantage of unique multiple computational bases for a quantum system to form quantum pilot signals, only extremely simple quantum circuitry is required together with statistical analysis algorithm in classic computations to successfully accomplish quantum channel phase estimation.
