Multiple Sclerosis Progressive Courses: A Clinical Cohort Long-Term Disability Progression Study

•Specific disability progression matrix, required by decision analytical models to simulate the natural history of progressive multiple sclerosis (MS) courses, is lacking.•Using multistate Markov models, we estimated the transition matrix to reflect the annual disability progression of primary and secondary progressive MS, separately.•The estimated transition matrices provide for the first-time specific data to simulate the natural course of progressive MS and assessing the impact/value of specific treatments and interventions.
