•COVID-19 vaccination of children is gaining global support•Scarce data are available for the inactivated vaccines•We report IgG sero(+) in vaccinated/non-vaccinated Chilean school-aged children•Seropositivity was >90% two weeks after a second dose of inactivated vaccine•IgG seropositivity surpassed 90% up to 10 weeks after a second dose in the case of the mRNA vaccine
