In this paper, a dual band radiation pattern reconfigurable antenna for 5G mobile terminals is presented. Two identical PIFA elements are connected to a PIN diode and feeding port to enable reconfiguration. Copper strips are used as RF switches in this antenna design to represent the actual PIN diodes.
