Development and application of a full-tensor magnetic gradient measurement system for the cabin HTS

This paper presents the first set of pod-type high-temperature superconducting full tensor magnetic gradient measurement system developed in China. This system is composed of a full-tensor magnetic gradient probe consisting of a high precision superconducting quantum interference magnetometer, a data acquisition system, an inertial navigation system, and a magnetic-free pod. Flight tests were carried out in Danyang, Jiangsu Province, and the full-tensor magnetic gradient contour map of the test area was prepared successfully. Test results show that the parameters of the pod-type HTS full-tensor magnetic gradient measuring instrument meet the requirements of aeromagnetic measurement technical specifications, and the measurement accuracy is better than +/- 30 pT . m(-1), with the actual production capacity, promoting the progress of aeromagnetic exploration in China. It can provide valuable field data for the aeromagnetic multi-parameter data acquisition-processing-interpretation system, fill in the blank of aeronautical high-temperature superconductivity full tensor magnetic gradient measurement technology in China, shorten the gap with developed countries in this field, providing advanced technical support for "Deep Resources Exploration and Exploitation", and having a good application prospect.
