摘要

•We investigate changes in DOM properties by MIEX resin related to DBP formation.•EEM-PARAFAC and Orbitrap MS molecular characterization were conducted.•MIEX resin removed condensed aromatic structures >lignin-like >lipid-like features.•MIEX treatment effectively decreased THMs and HANs formation potential.•Unique DBPs formation only found in MIEX-treated samples.
