摘要
P.aeruginosa infections have been difficult to treat with antibiotics because its resistance towards antibiotics and it is considered as a dangerous and dreaded pathogen. Plant based Zinc Oxide nanoparticles (ZnONPs) were synthesized from Pongamia pinnata(P. pinnata). The synergistic antibacterial effect of antibiotics and Nanoparticles on P. aeruginosa were investigated. The optical, functional and morphology properties of synthesized ZnO NPs was confirmed by UV–Visible spectroscopy, FTIR, SEM and TEM. The obtained results revealed that the plant - based ZnO NPs in combination with antibiotics has the ability to demonstrate highly potential antibacterial activity against P. aeruginosa.
