Simultaneous determination of pesticide residues in pomegranate whole fruit and arils using LC-MS/MS

•Method in pomegranate whole fruits and arils developed was validated in LC-MS/MS.•For all the pesticides, limit of quantification was 10 µgkg−1 which less than MRLs.•Recovery at 10, 50, and 100 µgkg−1 recorded 70–120 % and RSD > 15% in both matrices.•Measurement uncertainty (Uexp) at 50 µgkg−1 was in the range of 4.02–16.12 µgkg−1.•Method is highly suitable for quantifying residues in whole fruits, peel, and arils.
