Stakeholders’ Views on Patient Access Schemes in Malaysia

•The use of patient access scheme or managed entry agreements has increased globally, although the uptake is slow.•Stakeholders’ views on patient access schemes are well documented for the developed countries.•The challenges of implementing it in middle-income countries are not well documented. This article informs the challenges and areas for improvement of implementing patient access schemes or managed entry agreements in a middle-income country.
