摘要
•Decline of lymphatic vessel (LV) density and function in intrinsically aged skin leads to harmful substances accumulation and fluid imbalance. However, few studies paid attention to remodeling LVs in intrinsically aged skin. This paper investigated the impact of ALA-PDT on LVs in naturally aged skin.•It was the first time to confirm that low dose ALA-PDT remodeled LVs via regulating the VEGFC/VEGFR3 signaling pathway.•It was the first time to confirm that low dose ALA-PDT improved intrinsically aged skin. Besides, remodeling LVs might be related to the improvement of intrinsically aged skin.
