The longitudinal effects of chronotype on chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting in patients with breast cancer receiving neoadjuvant chemotherapy

•Chronotype affected CINV in patients with breast cancer.•Chronotype affected CINV across the four cycles of neoadjuvant chemotherapy.•Both early and late chronotypes negatively affected CINV incidence.•Both early and late chronotypes had higher CINV prevalence than intermediate chronotype.•Incidence of CINV significantly decreased at the last chemotherapy.
