Reactivation of dysfunctional dendritic cells by a stress-relieving nanosystem resets anti-tumor immune landscape

•We here generated a KIRA6 loaded α-Tocopherol nanoemulsion (KT-NE) to relieve oxidative stress and ER of malfunctioned DCs.•Our KT-NE reinvigorates the dysfunctional dendritic cells in tumor microenvironment.•Both KT-NE treated TIDCs and KT-NE itself significantly restore the efficacy of DC-mediated immunotherapy.•Treated with KT-NE, tumor bearing hosts can evoke robust anti-tumor immunity.
