•The asymmetric Si-SiO2 block all-dielectric metamaterial excites Fano resonance with a Q-factor of over 270.•Carrier concentration of Si block has a significant effect on Fano resonance.•The Fano resonance can be effectively modulated by introducing an entire sheet of graphene.
