•SHRIMP zircon dating yielded 306.5~281.9Ma for Koga carbonatite-alkaline complex.•The εNd(t) values of SP and Koga carbonatite are −1.71~−2.21 and +3.10~+3.47 respectively.•The SP carbonatite occurred during post-collisional tectonic setting.
