Geochronology and geochemistry of mineralized and barren intrusive rocks in the Yemaquan polymetallic skarn deposit, northern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau: A zircon perspective

•Yemaquan is typical of skarn deposits, comprising 15 magmatic anomaly areas.•Fertile intrusions of M1 and M13 areas are Triassic and Devonian, respectively.•Both Triassic barren and fertile rocks underwent strongly plagioclase fractionation.•The intrusions display similar magmatic oxidation state, but different water content.•Future mineral exploration in the QMB should pay attention to Devonian intrusions.
