Gas-sensitive nanostructured ZnO films praseodymium and europium doped: Electrical conductivity, selectivity, influence of UV irradiation and humidity

摘要
•Powders of rod-shaped ZnO nanoparticles Eu and Pr doped were synthesized by the solvothermal method.•Pneumatic microextrusion printing has been used for applying gas-sensitive coatings.•According to XPS data on the surface of ZnO praseodymium and europium are in the oxidation states + 3/+4 and + 2/+3.•Samples doped with Eu and Pr showed improved kinetic characteristics when detecting NO2 and increased response in a humid atmosphere.
