Comparative responses of glucosinolates in Baemoochae and its parent plants, radish and Chinese cabbage, during development

•Baemoochae contains a high proportion of GRH and GRE, similar to radish.•GNP, GBN, and GNT contents increased over time in Baemoochae, as in Chinese cabbage.•GSL composition in Baemoochae was similar to that in radish and Chinese cabbage.•Baemoochae exhibited distinct glucosinolate distribution patterns during development.•GRA and GNA are key metabolites in Baemoochae compared with its parent plants.
